Artist's Description
During our 2017 trip to Utah and Colorado, I was able to get this image overlooking the canyon in Canyonlands National Park, Islands in the Sky section about mid morning. I had gotten the family up around 4 AM to shoot Mesa Arch at sunrise. After a quick break for breakfast, we continued to drive around the park shooting until the sun got way too high to get decent shots. I love the story this tree tells with it's twists and turns.
