Spending time at Sodus Point this summer was a quiet pleasure. We were supposed to be in Alaska for two weeks this summer, but you know all about 2020. We are truly lucky to be happy and healthy when so many of our friends are not. This was one of those mornings where I had to fight with myself to get our of the camper. The forces that lie in my bed(s) are powerful. They can neutralize my best intentions to get out and shoot while the light is good. This particular morning, however, I won the battle and made my way down to Sodus Bay Light. The light this morning was moody and foreboding. I had to experiment with slow shutter speeds to get the look I wanted for the water on Lake Ontario.
