Description
I was on an early morning shoot close to home in Rocky Hill CT. I had been shooting down by Ferry Park on the banks of the Connecticut river. I decided to walk down the wooded dirt farm road into the Great Meadows. This area is a very fertile double oxbow in the river. An oxbow is a horseshoe like bend in a river that typically deposits a lot of organic material that decomposes into very fertile soil. As I walked through the woods, I could see the mist hanging in the fields. I knew I didn't have long before it all burned off so I rushed ahead, extending tripod legs as I walked. From the time I set up until the mist evaporated was less than 5 minutes. This is my favorite from the set. I have a nice 13X19 print hanging in my living room.
