I usually end up in my home state of NJ for Thanksgiving weekend. 2018 was no exception. I usually celebrate Black Friday by getting up early to make art. This image was taken on Saturday Nov 24, 2018 in Seaside just before sunrise. A 5 shot bracketed exposure sequence ensured I had the best exposure to work with. Even though there is some color in the sky, I think the clouds and texture of the boards call for a B&W image. I also added a bit of grain to the shot to get it closer to what it would have looked like if I had brought one of my circa 1970's SLRs.
